Gays deserve place to live and work

“I don’t think homosexuals should be granted a special minority status,” he told the paper. However, he said that gays, including teachers, should not be denied jobs solely because of their sexuality.

“As long as a person obeys the law and doesn’t recruit a student to a certain lifestyle, they shouldn’t be prevented from teaching. Every American should be allowed to work wherever he or she wishes as long as they obey the law.”

It actually sounds like Pat Robertson's latest gaffe about assassinating Hugo Chavez -- having stirred the sleeping giant of outrage -- has scared the pants off the religious right. And we all know how they feel about being found pants-less:

Pat Robertson may be the most honest of the bunch. At least he had the balls to come out and actually say what the White House only wishes they could say, but surely have been thinking for a long time. The best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour, after all. How many times did they try to take out Castro?

So, would this happen to include recruiting for Christianity as well?

Just the kind of thing to toss back at him.

Isn't that what we all wanted in the first place? Yeah, I know, a big old homohpobe said it but for once he speaks the truth. Oh man, somebody slap me now, this is just too weird. Excuse me, I have to go throw up.
